"You are worth it. You haven't turned your back on me." Eli turned on the t.v. and made himself comfortable. "I'm gonna stay here tonight. My boss probably won't call and I don't want to leave you alone. She thinks you're a traitor and i'm afraid she might try to hurt you to get to me. I don't think I want to win Kendra back. Tell ya what...why don't we just pack up and leave? You and me," he said eagerly. "We'll go so far away, they'll never find us."

Shane rolled her eyes and sat down next to Eli. "Oh what a great idea! Wish I would have thought of that...oh wait I did." She teased. She remembered asking Eli to just run away with her at the beginning of all this, but he refused, thinking it was too risky. Plus he didn't want to leave Kendra. "Where do you want to go?"
Kendra had gotten everyone out of the mental hospital. They were taking temporary shelter in an abandon building. She insisted on two men staying back with her to get a few desperately needed supplies. She was getting a few things from her office when she heard a few gunshots. She turned around to see why and saw a man in front of her. The guy punched her in the face and she fell to the ground, out cold.

"To another country entirely," he laughed. "I'm thinking Germany, Austria, perhaps France. A classier country. I feel like I should tell Lilith though. I know you're gonna think i'm crazy, but I don't want them following us. I'll do whatever it takes to protect us, to protect you. I'm gonna put you on a train before I talk to her, just in case things go...bad."

Shane shook her head. "And what if it does go bad? You get killed and I never see you again? No way. Let's just leave. She'll get over you quickly, I doubt she'll even care to send someone after us. Besides, she would never find us."
The guy was joined by another and they took Kendra out to a black car, shoved her inside, and drove off. They stopped infront of Lilith's house and took Kendra out of the car as she started to stir. The guy brought her into the living room and tied her to a chair. "Wakey, wakey." Lilith said as she walked into the room. She slapped Kendra in the face to help wake her up.
Kendra wince when she was slapped and blinked awake. She looked up at Lilith. "You must be Lilith. I've heard a lot about you."
"I'm sure you have. You're the little twit who killed my men. Some good men too." Lilith wasn't smiling anymore. "You owe me. I want to know where you're hideout is. Tell me and I won't hurt you."

"Shane, I think you're forgetting what I am. I'm a hybrid. Lilith isn't going to let go of one easily. That means she'll hunt us down. She'll kill you just so I don't have anything left to care about. If I make a deal with her, we don't have to worry about being followed." Eli gave Shane a warm hug and then headed for the door. "Start packing your things please. Don't fight me on this. Please. Please just get packed and go get some form of transportation. I'll meet you in...Vegas," he smirked.

"I'll leave here, but I'm not leaving town without you. I'll wait at the fishing docks, okay? If someone comes I'll go underwater so they won't know I'm there. You better come back." Shane was set on staying in town until Eli came back.
Lilith spent a while torturing Kendra, trying to get the whereabouts of her people. Kendra didn't budge though, she instead made nasty remarks back at Lilith. "For the last time, where the HELL IS YOUR TEAM??! Do you really think we aren't going to find them?! I OWN this town bitch! When I find them I'm going to make each one suffer, worse than what I'm doing to you and I'll make you watch!"
Kendra looked up at Lilith through her swollen eye. "Make me watch, huh? Can't be as bad as being forced to look at your face. I find that torture enough." A small smile spread across her lips, stretching one cut on her lip, making it bleed more. Her remark was treated with a punch to the face.
"Ha ha, very funny. At least I'm prettier than you right now. How about I strike you a deal. I will let you leave if you tell me what happened to my hybrid."
"Oh him? I killed him. Shot him with about seven or eight silver bullets, dragged him outside, and cut him into tiny pieces. You see, that's the only way to be sure that you killed the beast." Kendra replied in a matter-of-fact tone. She was in a lot of pain, worse she had ever felt, but she knew it would all end soon if she got Lilith to kill her. Lilith may have wanted to keep her alive to watch her men die, but she could tell Lilith was getting really pissed with her and rage would take over soon.
Sure enough it did. Lilith had been happy with Eli's work. Finding out he was dead pissed her off a great deal. She picked Kendra up by her throat, still attached to the chair, and threw her across the room. the chair broke, leaving Kendra still tied up in a pile of broken wood. Lilith stormed over to her and started to kick her in the stomach.

Eli gave Shane one last smile and then walked out the door. He didn't have any money with him to grab a cab ride, so he jogged to Lilith's house instead. He had amazing stamina and endurance, so it was really no problem. He walked right up to the door and stepped inside. He was a part of the gang. Why would he need to knock? The rusty smell of blood rushed through his notrils. That scent....it's so familiar...
"Wha--Kendra--what's she doing here? What's going on Lilith?" he shouted, feeling both confused and enraged. He hated seeing Kendra so beaten. She'd do the same to you if she could.

Kendra could hardly move, the pain was horrible. She thought it would end soon when all of the sudden, Lilith stopped. She managed to turn herself onto her back so she could see who it was, not that she needed to. That voice had once made her insides go fuzzy, but now all she could do was wish it was imaginary. God, not him...
Lilith spun around when she heard a voice and a smile spread across her lips. "Eli, you are alive. I was told otherwise." She turned and glared down at Kendra.
Kendra couldn't help but smile. "Oops..." She replied, before she coughed up some blood.
"Are you hurt? Do you need to be tended to? I can get a doctor who specializes in creatures here in a matter of minutes if you wish." Lilith turned back to Eli. "And I had my men grab her at that mental hospital she and her team hid in. Unfortunately, most of them were gone. My men grabbed her and brought her here for questioning."
"It's a good thing I didn't tell you where I hid everyone this time...we'd all be dead now." Kendra told Eli. She winced when she moved the wrong way.

Eli couldn't tell Kendra that he'd never ratted on them with Lilith in the room. What do I do? She's gonna end up killing Kendra if I don't do something. Why do I even care? Kendra hates me. I hate Kendra. Eli couldn't lie to himself. He still loved Kendra.
"No thank you Lilith. I actually came to talk to you about something. I umm...I was wondering if I could leave the gang. I want to leave town and travel. I don't want anyone chasing after me, so I thought i'd come here and ask permission. You've been great, but I uh I just can't do this anymore. Is it alright...if I leave?"

Lilith raised her eyebrow. "You want to leave? Why would you want to do that?" Nobody had ever asked to leave before, they knew better than to ask. She wasn't too surprised though, she knew from the start that Eli wasn't really into it, she had just hoped her assignments would have changed that.

"You know why you're in here. You joined so that your little wolf girlfriend didn't have to." Lilith turned very serious. She didn't want to lose the hybrid, they were very rare and he had been doing an amazing job. "But I like you, Elim so I'll make you a deal. I'll let you and your wolf girlfriend leave and we won't follow you, if you take this piece of trash out and dispose of it. Eat her, beat her, rip her limb from limb, just make her death slow and painful. Deal?"

Eli narrowed his eyes and watched Lilith carefully. Did she know about his feelings for Kendra? Why would Lilith want him to kill Kendra? "Okay," he said, turning his gaze to Kendra. He grinned, grabbing her by the leg and dragging her toward the door. "I do this, and you don't bother Shane or me ever again. I'm leaving tonight, by the way. I'll have to kill this girl on the way to the docks."

"Just get her out of my sight. And if you change your mind, you know where to find me." Lilith watched him leave, dragging Kendra behind him, before turning to her slave. "Clean up the blood. I want it to be exactly how it was." She walked into the bathroom and washed her hands of the blood.
"You're just letting him go? That easily?" Bane asked as he stood in the doorway.
Lilith laughed. "Of course not. I want you to follow him, but stay out of sight. I have a feeling he won't kill that girl, he was too shocked when he saw her before. Besides, 'he doesn't kill'." She rolled her eyes as she dried her hands. She turned to Bane and flashed him a smile. "I want you to lead this. I don't care where you have to go to follow him, just do it. Give me updates."
Kendra yelled out in pain as he pulled on her good leg. Her hands were still tied behind her back so her arms got scratched up as they slid along the floor. "Please...please just make it quick..." She pleaded.
