Kendra shifted closer to her, accidentally moving her broken leg. "Ah dammit!" She hissed as she broke the kiss, bringing her hand to her leg. It took a few minutes for the pain to die down, she winced and bit her lip the whole time. Once the pain was gone she turned her head back to Eli. "By the way, thanks for breaking my leg." She said sarcastically.
Shane stopped in front of Gabe. "I was waiting for someone. So you can teleport? Sweet! Can I see?" She relaxed after listening to him. Now she was excited to see his powers. He was a mutant! She had never met a mutant before.

"I'm so sorry, I really am. It was better than killing you though, right? I mean, you shot me. You wanted to kill me. I just didn't want you running after me," he shrugged and smiled apologetically. "Perhaps when you're all healed up we can do a little more than just kiss," he grinned, wiggling his eyebrows. He suddenly realized that Shane hadn't answered his call. "Crap...where could Shane be? I know I smell her." He howled again, getting a little worried.
"I don't really wanna.....hmm alright alright. I'll show you just this once." Gabe disappeared and reappeared on one of the boats not too far out. He yelled hello, waved, and then reappeared infront of Shane. "Nothing special. Are you different as well? You growled...so I assume you are not just a human."

Kendra laughed softly at Eli and shook her head. "You're right, but you heal quicker than I do. And we'll see how you are while I heal. If you prove yourself than maybe we will do something more than just kiss." She smiled playfully before trying to stand up. "Let's go find her." She replied. She fell down in pain and cursed under her breath.
Shane looked so amused when he teleported to the boat and back. "That is so beyond cool! I'm a werewolf. Don't worry, I'm good around humans. My friend taught me how to control my hunger. Hold on." She heard the howl again and turned towards it. She howled up into the air. "That's him. Do you have some place to stay?"

"Don't move silly girl," he smiled, trying to get her to sit back down and relax. "Ya hear that? She answered the call. I don't know what she's doing, but that howl wasn't one of pain or warning. It was a simply response telling us that she'd be joining us soon. She'll be happy to see you. She kept telling me to go find you and beg for forgiveness," he laughed.
"A werewolf...very interesting. It's rare to find one who isn't working for a gang already." Gabe watched her howl and started to back away. He didn't really want to meet another werewolf. A guy werewolf who might attack him. "I have a home, yes. You should probably go find your friend. He may get antsy."

Kendra let out a small laugh. "So where's the begging? I would love to see that." She was about to say something else when there were a few footsteps and three men came around a corner, all holding guns. They walked up to where Kendra and Eli were sitting and pointed their guns at them.
"Lilith says she's very disappointed that you didn't hold up your end of the bargain. The deal's off the table and as punishment you will have to watch you're loved ones die." The man in the middle said.
Shane noticed him back away and laughed. "You afraid we're going to eat you? You can teleport, remember? You have the advant--" She stopped talking immediately when she smelt someone. "Someone's here..." She growled and took a few steps forward, looking behind Gabe. Another three men walked out from the shadows, each one of them holding guns as well.

Eli grabbed Kendra's hand and glared up at the men. "We will not be going anywhere with you. Run home and tell dear Lilith that if she wants to kill us she should get her pampered ass out here and do it herself." Where's Shane? Have they got her too?
Gabe didn't hesitate when the men with the guns came out of the shadows. He grabbed onto Shane and teleported them onto the rooftop of a dock management facility. "They won't see us up here. Who were they?"

"That's not how it works, boy. You may think you're invincible, but you're disposable. If you aren't on Lilith's side, then you die." All three guys cocked their guns. The silver bullets would only be able to hurt Eli, but one shot to the head would kill Kendra.
"They're some of Lilith's goons. She's one of the big bad monsters running this freak show of a town." Shane paused to sniff the air and turned her head in the other direction when she heard what sounded like the cocking of guns. "There are more. Probably after my friends. Can you do me a huge favor? Once I kill the men, could you teleport us into the forest? That way the others can follow our scent."

"I think I have a better idea," Gabe said, looking over the edge of the building and seeing Shane's friends huddled together. "A firing squad...looks like your friends are about to be shot. Hold on tight now." Gabe grabbed Shane and teleported them right down to the others. Group hug!" he said happily, throwing his arms around Shane, Kendra and Eli, and then disappearing. Lilith's goons were left scratching their heads.
Gabe teleported them to an small, secluded beach area surrounded by some cliffs. "Everyone alright?" Eli stumbled away, bent over and puked all over the sand. "I'm sorry mate. Sometimes people get sick during teleportation. It's better than getting shot though, right?"

Kendra screamed in pain as she landed on her broken leg. She laid down in the sand, holding her leg. Pain shot through her torso as she laid down, her cracked ribs stretching. It made her want to puke.
"That was awesome!" Shane said happily. She high fived Gabe before turning to Eli and Kendra. Her face grew serious. "What happened to Kendra?" She walked over to Eli to help him up before walking over to Kendra.

"When I went to go drop off my resignation, Lilith was torturing her." Eli sat down and tried to move Kendra into a more comfortable position. "She won't let me take her to the doctor. I don't know how to heal people very well, because I heal really quick. I don't know what to do," he said, his voice cracking from worry and stress.
Eli narrowed his eyes at Gabe and then turned his gaze to Shane. "Thanks for the help, but may I ask who you are? Where'd you find this one Shane?"

"They know I'm injured...they'll be looking for me at the hospital." Kendra knew that at least to her it made sense. "I'll be fine. It doesn't even hurt that--gahh!" She accidentally twisted her body slightly. "I just need a place where I can stay still and rest."
"He popped onto the docks. I smelled him and went to check him out. He's a mutant. Isn't that awesome?!" Shane was really excited about Gabe, she liked him.
"A mutant? Man I could use someone like you on my team." Kendra piped in. She had only met about two mutants in her lifetime.

Eli still didn't trust Gabe, and he wouldn't for a while. It was his job as the hybrid leader to be cautious. Besides, he was a guy taking care of two girls. Usually Kendra didn't need someone to take care of her, but with her injuries, she was weak and vulnerable. Eli left the group, and walked down to the water's edge. He threw his shoes to the side, rolled up his pants and let the waves wash over his feet. While Kendra and Shane talked to Gabe, Eli needed to think of a new plan. Where would they stay? How would he deal with Lilith? Kendra's friends were probably worried sick about her and disorganized because they'd lost a leader.
"Team? What kind of team are we talking about? I've heard about the gangs here. I don't plan on joining any gangs. They're killers. Of course...you two don't look like killers," he chuckled.

"We're the rebels, I guess you could call us. We just try to save the innocent. We have to kill some bad guys, but we tried to stay under the radar. It hasn't worked out so well since I met these two-" Kendra pointed to Eli down at the water and Shane. "But I've managed to keep most of the people alive. With your ability we will be able to get food much quicker and get the innocent people to safety. Think about it. You don't have to fight if you're not comfortable, you don't even have to help us out too much, just a safe place to stay."

"I don't want to fight, but I suppose I could help your people with food and quick escapes. I'd be selfish to keep my power all to myself. You seem like nice people. Sure, i'll help you out." Gabe sat down in the sand and slid his fingers through the tiny particles. "So, where should we go now? Where are your people? They could take care of you."

"By now they are probably in the old medical factory on the outskirts of town. I told them if I didn't return in a few hours to go there and I would meet them there." Kendra knew it wasn't going to be an ideal place because there wasn't a great bathroom and no shower, but it was by the river and there were medical supplies. "We got to wait for Eli though, he'll throw a hissy fit if we go without him."
