Fright Night

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

"Not tonight. My leg is acting up." Maci's leg was fine, but she hoped it would be a good enough excuse for Wesley to leave. Not many guys wanted to stop in the middle of fooling around because the girl complained of pain. Somehow she didn't think it would work. She hoped he didn't bring up William again because she really didn't want to talk to Wesley about him.

[Elijah]

"Your leg? Hmm, I haven't heard that one before," he said sarcastically. "Whatever. Don't say thank you to the man who saved you from a bloodsucking demon. If I see that dog up here tonight, i'll kill him. I'll kill both of you. See I know what you're doing. You're saving yourself for him tonight and its pissing me off. Everytime you refuse me, you're hurting him, just remember that," Wesley smirked. "Alright so, i'll see you in the morning then?"

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Everytime you refuse me, you're hurting him. The words stung. Maci didn't want William to get hurt. "No, wait!" She took a deep breath before continuing. "I-I'll do it..." It hurt to say that. She didn't even want to kiss him but if he was going to hurt Will then she would suck it up. She looked up at Wesley and waited for him to walk over to the bed she was on.

[Elijah]

"Terrific," Wesley smirked, crawling onto the bed with her. Wesley didn't keep his voice down the entire time, and everyone in the entire house could hear them. Wes was only trying to bug one person in particular. The one person he knew she cared for.

Will's hands crushed the chair's arm rest and he took the rest of his anger out on the furniture in his own room. He hated Wesley. I'll kill him. I'm gonna KILL him.

Maci tried to submerge herself in her head so she wouldn't have to focus on what was happening. His body against hers felt all wrong, his lips were too cold for her liking. Nothing compared to Will's. She couldn't even pretend like it was Will because Wesley was human, his hands weren't warm, he didn't give her the feeling Will did. The whole time she just wished it would be over. The fact that he was basically shouting made things worse. The whole house would know what she did with Wesley. Just the thought made her want to vomit.

[Elijah]

Will didn't come out of his room in the morning and Wesley allowed it. He loved the fact that he was causing Will so much pain. It just confirmed that something had been going on between Maci and Will. It wasn't until breakfast was laid out, that Wes forced Will to leave his room. "You're a servant remember? Serve."

Wes also sent some maids to go fetch Maci from her room. "Carry her if you have to. I have some good news for her." Will stood in the corner of the room with his head down. He wanted to make sure that Maci was alright, but he just couldn't bring himself to look at her.

Maci didn't sleep at all, spending two hours afterwards in the shower, trying to get the feeling of Wesley off of her. It didn't work. When she walked out of the bathroom and into her room she could picture it all happening again. She quickly took off all the sheets on her bed and threw them out her window.

She got dressed and walked downstairs when the maids told her to, sitting down at the table. She knew Will was in the corner, but she refused to look at him. She was ashamed and felt dirty. He'll never want me now. He won't even want to help me. She looked up at Wesley and hate boiled inside her. He had taken advantage of her. "You called?"

[Elijah]

"I have good news. You're free. I want you out of my house by this afternoon," Wesley smiled brightly. He chowed down on some food and then explained the rest. "You're too much work, my dear. I took you from Jimmy, and last night, I got exactly what I wanted. So, there's only one thing left to do. Kick you out. You don't even like sleeping with me, which is weird," he chuckled. "Anyway, you're welcome."

Will lifted his head up, as soon as Wesley said that she was free. He was confused, and wary, but mainly happy. He was elated that Maci was getting what she'd wanted. She's free and she'll be alright.

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

"WHAT?! Maci was too angry about the fact that he was dumping her to the side of the road like a whore to care that she would be free. With clentched teeth she stood up. "I'll go get ready then." She turned around and left the room. She walked upstairs and instead of going to her room she walked into Wesley's. While talking to the servants she learned that Wesley kept weapons in his night side cabinet. She took a gun from the cabinet and walked back into her room.

She packed up a backpack and walked downstairs. She walked into the diningroom as Wesley was finishing up breakfast. "Before I leave--" She pulled out the gun and pointed it straight at Wesley's chest. "I wanted to thank you properly." She pulled the trigger three times, staring straight at Wesley. She wanted to watch the bullets pierce him, she wanted to watch him bleed to death.

[Elijah]

While Maci was gone, Wesley tortured Will with a recollection of the night's events. "You should've seen her," he laughed, finishing up his breakfast. As soon as he did, Maci entered the room with a gun. Wesley tried to react, but all three bullets pierced through his skin. Two in the chest and one in the arm. He fell back in his chair and then rolled to the ground.

Will was too shocked to move. Maci had shot Wesley! She'll have a bounty on her head! Just get her out of here, you can return later to do damage control.

Will grabbed Maci and led her out of the house. She seemed a little out of it, but as long as she followed him, Will didn't care. "Come on, there aren't vampires in the front, just lycans. Luckily, they know me." The lycans let Will and Maci pass through the front gate and then just like that, they were free. Will didn't let Maci stop until they were in an alley way, downtown. "Maci? You okay?"

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Maci was just playing the scene over and over in her head as William dragged her out the door and through town. She had shot Wesley. He would die. Distantly, she heard William say something. She smiled first and then started to laugh. After a minute she looked at William. "Okay? I'm more than okay, I'm free! I'm amazing!" She felt relieved.

She looked around and noticed where they were. "You're out with me! You don't ever have to go back! The bastard is dead!" She jumped into him, wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him passionately. She remembered their talk the night before and what happened afterwards and she jumped back. "Sorry. I didn't mean to do that."

[Elijah]

"No, please.....don't.....don't stop," he said bashfully, scratching the back of his neck. He smiled happily for her, but inside, he was freaking out. He didn't want to tell her that he had to go back. They didn't know for sure if Wesley was dead or not. Don't ruin her moment. The beautiful woman is happy.

Wesley crawled out of the dining hall, leaving a trail of blood behind him. "Help! HELP ME NOW OR I'LL KILL YOU ALL! I'LL SET THE HOUSE ON FIRE!"

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Maci was confused. "You...you still want me? Even after what I did last night? Not only did I basically reject you but I also did...that thing, with him. I felt so disgusted." She could feel herself getting upset at the thought.

Some of the maids rushed to Wesley's side and helped him to the couch. They laid him down and pressed towels to his wounds. Some vampires came in and took over. A few of the maids took the time to run along with a few of his other staff. "He'll die if we wait for the ambulance to come, filthy humans, what should we do?"

[Elijah]

"You rejected me because i'm a monster. You....you slept with him because you wanted to p-protect me," he said, getting emotional. "You shouldn't have done it," he said, shaking his head back and forth. "You shouldn't give up so much for me. He hurt you in the worst way and it was all because of me. I'm so sorry!"

"CALL A WITCH YOU MORONS!" He shouted, trying to get through the pain. "Stupid vampires, CALL A WITCH NOW!"

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

"Why? You have given up so much for me. What was one night with him compared to one night of you sleeping uninjured? You've been beaten because of me, I couldn't let that happen again." Tears were falling down her face. Maci felt her throat closing as she held back a sob. "I'm sorry about what I said to you yesturday. You aren't a monster and you can't help what you eat. I shouldn't be trying to change you."

One of the vampires pulled out a cell phone and dialed Nicolette's phone number. They explained what had happened and she hung up quickly. After muttering a few latin words she appeared in Wesley's living room. "Move, morons!" She knelt beside Wesley and took the towel off. "You owe me big after this one Wes." She held her hand over each wound and whispered a spell. One by one the bullets flew out of Wesley. Once they were out she took a cloth sack out of her back and opened it up. She took a handful of the dust and sprinkled a little on the wounds until the magically closed up. "There. You may be a little sore for a day or two, but you'll be fine. So who had the balls to shoot you?"
