Fright Night

[Elijah]

"It does?" he asked quietly, a small smile creeping onto his face. You being locked up is making things worse! She kissed you and said that. "You know, you won't like me so much when we get out of here, which will be soon. You saw me change once, but I think you were too out of it to really see what I was. I don't want to disappoint you." Will didn't want to tell her this, but he wanted to be completely truthful with her. He wanted her to have all of the facts.

"Maci, i'm a lycan. I eat people. I don't like to, but it's what I do. You realize that don't you? I try to be the best human I can be to make up for it," he chuckled.

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Maci forgot about his diet. "Is there any way you cannot eat people?" Her smile had faded and instead placed with a look of worry. She didn't want William to stay there and get beaten by Wesley, but she didn't want him out of there if he was going to eat people. This is like a freaking horror movie. She had just found out about vampires and werewolves when Jimmy took her. She only had a year to adjust. It freaked her out that William ate people.

[Elijah]

"I don't know," he shrugged, "i've never really had the chance to try. With new lycans, Wesley will starve them until they have no choice but to eat humans. The monster inside takes over. I won't ever hurt you though," he reassured her, taking her hand in his.

Will leaned into her, forcing her back to the door. He kissed her lightly on the lips and then moved down to her neck. "It's a good thing Wesley's a human," he mumbled against her skin, "otherwise he'd be able to smell me all over you."

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

"Well if you want to eat Wesley I wouldn't object." Maci said with a slight smile. She couldn't help but say that. She was trying to think some things through, but she was finding it very hard to concentrate while William kissed her body. His lips were so warm, it was intoxicating. "Do you want to eat people?" To her it meant all the difference. If he wanted to eat people then she would tell him to leave because she would find him no better than Wesley. If he said no, which she hoped he did, then everything would go on like it was.

[Elijah]

"Well, no, I mean, I don't want to be a murderer. I dont like to hear their screams. I can't stop though. I don't think I can," he said, ceasing the neck kissing for their serious conversation. "I've been forced to eat them for so long, I don't know," he shrugged. "To answer your question, I don't want to eat them, but I can't stop. Its like drugs I guess," he said sadly.

He didn't continue kissing right away. He played with the bottom of her shirt and got lost in his own thoughts. "You want me to stop, but i'm afraid I can't."

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Maci bit her lip. "I'm sure you can stop if you really wanted to. You know where I'm coming from, right? I like you, I really do, I just...I can't have you leave with me and eat people. I-It's just I don't want you hurting anymore people.." She didn't want to have to say it, but it was important he knew.

[Elijah]

Will understood exactly what she was saying. If he didn't stop eating people, she wouldn't be with him. She wouldn't talk to him or kiss him or do anything else with him. "I get where you're coming from, but its not fair to me!" he whispered, careful to keep his voice down. "I can't help what I am. I didn't choose to be a lycan. I didn't choose to be force fed humans!" Will kept his hands on her, hoping that this wasn't the last time he'd feel her warmth.

"You know i'd try for you, but that doesn't mean that it will work. What are you gonna do the first time I make a mistake? What if I make it again and again?" He took a deep breath and tried to keep calm. "You're right.....i'll help you escape and then i'll let you be. You can find some human that doesn't eat humans."

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

"No...I don't want that, I just..." Maci didn't know what she would do if William slipped up a couple of times. It wasn't like it was grades, it was people and their lives. She bit her lip to stop the tears that were fighting to fall down. She didn't know what else to say. She didn't want to be without him, but she didn't want someone who ate humans.

[Elijah]

"It's okay," he said, kissing under her eyes. "Don't cry." He could see the tears ready to burst from her eyes. "If I was going to stop, i'd need a lot of help and it would probably be dangerous. I don't want you to get hurt. I think it's best if we just remained friends then." Will only wanted what was best for Maci. She didn't want a people eater and that's what Will was.

"I'll help you escape and i'll stay here so that i'm atleast somewhat confined. Not as many people will get hurt, right?"

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Maci froze when she heard that they should just be friends. "If that's what you want..." She took a moment to calm herself so she wouldn't cry before she stepped away from the door. "I have some things to do..." Really she just wanted to be alone. She turned away from William and walked over to the window, hoping he would leave quickly, she couldn't hold the tears for much longer.

[Elijah]

"Okay, um," he mumbled, scratching his head. Girls are strange creatures. "I'll just talk to you later? O-okay, umm," he said, awkwardly slipping out of the room. What did I say? I said exactly what she wanted me to say.

Will came back later, but didn't open the door because he could hear sniffling. He had no idea what he'd done to cause Maci so much pain. Wesley coming home was the cherry on top of the whole day. He waltzed right into Maci's room and closed the door. Will couldn't follow him in.

"Maci dear, i'm back from town. How was your day?" Wesley asked, sitting on her bed.

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

Maci looked over at Wesley, glad she had stopped crying about an hour ago. "Boring. I watched some television and read. How was yours?" She didn't want to talk about what she really had been up to, not with Wesley. She couldn't wait to be out of there, away from Wesley, but she still wished William would go with her. He'll eat people! But he said he's try not to... That doesn't mean anything!

[Elijah]

"Wonderful! I was settling business deals, collecting money, blah blah blah," he laughed, rolling his eyes. "It was quite a stressful day though. Would you mind helping me blow some steam?" he asked, innocently enough. He was sure Maci would know what he was talking about.

Even from the living room, Will could hear everything they were talking about. He sat, perched on the couch, awaiting Maci's answer. It killed him to hear them together. He knew for survival though, Maci had to play nice.

[Kendra // Shane // Lilith]

"Blow some steam? How?" Maci was playing dumb. She was trying to stall time, but it wouldn't work. She didn't know what to do, if she said no then he would hurt her but if she said yes then she would lose so much.

[Elijah]

"Fool around, my love," he laughed. "We don't have to have sex yet. Just some kissing and touching. See, I can be nice too. I may not be as warm as your werewolf admirer, but I can give you more. I'm more human than he is. Actually, I consider myself human. Fully," he said, wandering the room. "So, what do you say?"
