"don't worry they don't know about the basement, i made mama promise to keep them upstairs" she smiled and stood on tiptoe to give laurell a kiss on the cheek before heading out the door and waiting for her "dont forget your cloak" she called back

Laurell shook her head and grinned at Spring, 'you think of everything sweety dont you' she said as she grabbed her cloak and swung it round her shoulders. before heading out the door with Spring. laurells heart felt lighter then it had for ages.

Spring skipped all the way through the forest, she smiled at laurelll and held her hand as theey came to the street slowly the pair walked to the old house, a few men were outside fixing the front door and painting the walls, they waved at Spring as she led Laurell into the house.
