Laurell followed spring, the girl was highly excited and Laurell saw what she was excited about. 'wow spring thats beautiful' she said gently touching the wonderfully carved wood. 'did you make this on your own or did your papa help you' she asked her softly smiling at the little girl

"By myself" she squealed happily holding onto Laurells hand and smiling happily, "papa said we can hang it out the front and the birds can come live in it" her face was smiling brightly and she looked young.
"come on girls bed time, Spring Laurell you have about an hour before the sun rises" her mama looked a little uncomfortable "come lets all go to bed" with that the others left her papa kissing spring on the cheek before going out
"come on laurell" Spring said walking out of the workshop and to the room they now shared.

Laurell nodded and yawned slightly feeling the weight of the soon rising sun press on her. 'yes suns almost up and we should really be getting into safety' she said softly her old ways falling back into place. She followed Spring back to the bedroom and started to remove her clothing, her arms felt heavy and her head hurt slightly as she slipped the dress off and clothed herself int he nightwear Springs mother had laid out for her, She lent down and kissed Spring gently on her cheek. 'into bed with you now young lady' she teased softly

Spring quickly undressed and put on her pale green puff sleeved night gown, she got her teddy off of the bed and wandered over to her coffin, she smiled as Laurell kissed her cheek and then climbed in, the emerald green satin in her coffin looking neat against her nightdress, she had a satin feather quilt which was thin in her coffin with her to keep her warm. Laurell had one in the deepest of purples, she smiled and sat up "night night Laurell" she said getting in comfortably and pulling her coffin lid over her.

Laurell watched as Spring pulled the lid of the coffin over her before she settled back in her own snuggling down under the blankets, she hoped she would be able to sleep, the last 3 years she had been plaqued by nightmares of things she would rather forget. with a soft sigh she pulled the lid over her and lay back waiting for the weight to hit her and knock her out

Hours into the next day....
Night time had fallen and Spring had awaoken early she had pushed ehr coffin lid off and gotten up. Laurell seemed ot still be asleep so Spring went into her wardrobe and found out and emerald green dress to match her eyes, its tiny puff sleeves and hooped skirts looked adorable on the girls small frame, she slid her feet into a pair of emerald green satin shoes and buckled them up, then her mama came in a brushed her hair so that it shone brightly, she tied a green ribbon into her daughters hair and then left, Spring then went into the wardrobe and fetched her Dark green cape, she laid it on the bed and started humming softly as she awaited laurell to eake.

Laurell shifted uneasily and opened her eyes, the darkness around her was complete and with a small start she realised she was in a strange coffin, sitting up suddenly she threw the coffin lid off with a small bang and gasped for the breath she no longer needed to live. a cry caught in her throat as she noticed Spring watching her, laurell forced herself to relax and smile at the child. 'morning' she said softly as she stretched her arms gently. 'did you sleep well sweety' she asked her

"you was frightened?" Spring asked wandering over to Laurell and stroking her hair gently "mama said to let you sleep" Spring said "So i got dressed" she smiled "mama laid some clothes out for you and a cloak to keep you warm" she smiled gently and offered Laurell her hand to help her up

Laurell smiled at Srping as she vclimbed out of her coffin. 'not exactly frightened sweety just unsure' she said softly as she made her way over to the clothes laid on the bed for her. Laurell smiled as she picked up the fresh dress and gown, 'I need to wash really' she said as she looked at spring hopefully

Spring pointed to the bathroom and smiled "all neccessaties (sp?) are there" she smiled sweetly and walked Laurell over to the bathroom, it had alot of things for a young child in there, a showere, a huge bath sinks and a toilet.

Laurell looked round the bathroom and bent down to kiss Spring gently on the forehead. 'thank you sweety i wont be long' she said as she ushered the child out and closed the door, before running warm water into the tub and climbing in soaking the grime and smell of smoke from her skin. she closed her eyes as she felt the warmth of the water sink into her skin warming her from the inside. Laurell finished her bath and quickly dried and dressed before leaving the bathroom. she sat on the bed running a brush through her hair, being unable to see her reflection in any mirror laurell had to rely on touch to check her hair.

Spring watched ehr come out and start brushing her hair, she climbed in the bed beside her and took the brush, running it gently through laurells hair, making it fall down over her shoulders like silk. Spring smiled once done and nodded "you look pretty" she said happily swinging her legs a little over the edge of the bed.

Laurell smiled at Spring before hugging the girl in her arms gently. 'thank you sweety its been ages since someone did my hair for me' she whispered touching the soft silken locks. her eyes shone with pleasure as she jumped off the bed. 'so what we doing today sweety' she asked spring gently as she made her way to the coffin and began straightneing the bedding inside

"papa made some furniture for the old house" Spring said softly "you was mumbling about it in your sleep the others have gone on to clean it up a bit and replace a few of the windows" she smiled "mama's gone to help clean the garden and paint the kitchen and a few of papa's friends are helping clean the old broken stuff out" she smiled at Laurell "we can go there and mama will get us someone to feed on when she goes to feed" she waited for Laurells answer.

Laurell looked at Spring shocked she jumped off the ed and started for the door, her mind whirling hoping they didnt discover the cage in the basement, 'wel' she said her voice high and agitated... 'maybe we should get along there and help i mean we wouldnt want them throwing out something special now would we' she said her smile still on her lips.
