Visiting an Old Friend

[Tegan Monahan]

Abby nodded and took hold of Hunter's hand. A small silver light glowed from inbetween their hands as she said some latin words softly. She placed her other hand over Emma's heart and the same silver light went into Emma. Abby let go of Hunter's hand and stepped back just as Emma's eyes opened. There was a second of silence and then Emma screamed out in pain. Her whole body felt like it was on fire. She could only open one eye since the other one was swollen and bruised. Doctors came in and tried to get her to calm down but she kept screaming in pain. One doctor rushed out of the room to get a sedative. Abby looked at Hunter and smirked. "Told you." She said over Emma's screams.

Hunter wanted to break out in tears. "What have I done....." he said backing up to the door. Before the doctors could question him, he was gone....running out of building and into the forest. "Emma would never had wanted that" he said, sitting alone in the forest, tears building up in his eyes. "Im so sorry" he said burying his head in his arms, sitting underneath a large and dark tree. "I was doomed for enternity anyway....but I wish I could find her, I wish I could find angel. Then Emma would atleast be healed, and she could hate me happily while I become a doomed servant." he mumbled

The doctors got the seditive and Emma was put to sleep. They made sure she was fine and then left. They had to keep her in a medically induced coma till she recovered a bit more or she'd be screaming nonstop until the pain killed her. "Good luck finding Angel. I've been trying to find her for two months now with no luck and I'm her daughter." Abby told Hunter. She had followed him as he had rushed out of the room seeing as she would just kill Emma if she was in there alone.

It had been a few days since the hospital incident and still Hunter had no luck in finding Angel. Arriving at the hospital, he wasnt allowed inside. The doctors thought that he had caused Emma so much pain and they also found out he was a hybrid. So, scaling the wall, he found Emma's window and entered. It was the middle of the night and not many people were around. At the moment, Emma seemed to be still in her coma and Hunter began to think that his deal with Abby was atrick. "I hate Sleepy Hollow" he grumbled, standing at the side of Emma's bed.

By now her ribs had healed slightly and the pain wasn't as intense so the doctors had stopped giving her the seditive. She would wake up soon but would still be in some pain. A couple of minutes had past and Emma opened her eyes but this time didn't scream out in pain. She looked around the room as much as she could without moving because it hurt. "wh-where am I?" She said outloud but softly. She didn't know if anyone was in the room or not.

Hunter was about to break down in depression when he heard an oh too familiar voice. Rushing to her bedside again, a smile finally appeared on his face. "Emma! Are you awake? Are you alright?" he asked overjoyed. He kept his voice down in case any doctors walked by. He pulled up a chair and sat down next to her. He didnt know if she'd remember him and if she did, would she be angry? He prayed not.

Emma tilted her head ever so slightly to look at Hunter and a small smile spread across her face. "Hunter..." She said softly. She felt a throb in her head and her body ached. She slowly moved her hand, the only thing that wasn't extremely injured, and took hold of Hunter's hand. "I've missed you.." She looked up at him with the eye that she could open. She hadn't seen him in months and was surprised to see him. How'd he find her?

[Liam/Mason]

Hunter breathed a sigh of relief. "Im so sorry for putting you through this pain. I didnt know if you'd rather be dead or here again." Hunter wouldnt tell her about the other side of the deal with Abby. "Are you alright? Why'd you attack Abby? You could've been killed....then what would I do with my life, without you by my side." he said with a sweet smile. He couldnt let go of her hand and didnt want to. He was too close to losing her before. He wouldnt lose her this time. "Sorry I disappeared for a while, wasnt exactly my choice. But we can talk about that later. Im so glad to see you awake"

Emma winced in pain and squeezed on Hunter's hand. "With you here I'd rather be here." She replied with a small smile. The smile dissappeared though before she spoke again. "I didn't attack her. She threw the first punch, sent me flying into the wall." She explained. "I saw her and we got into a fight and then she just punched me. I can't remember what I said to her but she was angry. And I mean angry. I've never seen her like that."

[Liam/Mason]

"Well, Ive told her to stay away from you and she will unless she wants to get into a fight with me. Im just glad your ok" he said, a few tears rimming his eyes. "Im sorry, its just I was so close to losing you. Im stronger now and I wont lose you again. Well unless you wanted to leave." he said smiling. "Hopefully it wont come to that. Look Im not suppose to be in here. Doctors think I did something to you and they also found out im a hybrid so I cant come here anymore. But ill come whenever I can sneak in. When are they going to letyou out?" he asked caressing her hand gently

Emma let out a soft laugh and looked up at Hunter. "I missed your rambling." She said jokingly. She tried to sit up but the pain hit her like a thousand needles stabbing her all over her body so she gave up. "I don't know. Probably not for a couple of days. Good thing I heal faster then regular people because of me being a slayer."

[Liam/Mason]

"Ummm darling.....I heard from a source that theres.....a new slayer. They didnt think you'd make it. You were on you last limb. Can there be two slayers?" he asked, concerned about how she would react.

Emma nodded slightly and looked up at Hunter. "It started out as one slayer, Ellie, and then there was a time when she died but only for about a minute hence making another slayer, me. When Ellie died another one was born. So either the other slayer died or I died.." She stated slowly. She coughed slightly and sighed.

[Liam/Mason]

"Hmmm interesting..." was all he said, as he tried to cover up what really went on. What would she think of him if she knew, he'd made a deal wiht the devil...rather the devils daughter. But Hunter didnt remember her dying......had she died as he was making his decision? "You may have. I guess a miracle just came along and saved ya. Or the other slayer died." he said caressing her hand.

Emma wasn't stupid and knew something was going on. She eyed Hunter suspisiously and winced again. "You're not telling me something Hunter.." She said softly. She had a gut feeling it wasn't the best thing either, but what could he have done that was so bad? She couldn't think of what could be so bad that he wouldn't tell her.
