School at Midnight?

[brooke]

Brooke wandered round the darkened school, she'd been here 3 weeks and Had only met 2 people. Kinda depressing really but luckily her wings were growing back, she now had small ones which fluttered gently when she was feeling emotions or, just incredibly bored and wanting something to do.

Wandering boredly round the dark corridors she played with her powers, making it windy, then icy, then flames erupted at the end of the hall and flashed different colours, she laughed softly and continued walking, senses going dull while she stored her energy.

[Tegan Monahan]

"Nice Powers." A voice said from behind Brooke. A young girl, no older than eighteen, walked foward. She was wearing a black and red dress that extended down to her knees. She had longish black hair and piercing dark eyes. She was wearing flip flops for the first time since she wasn't looking for trouble for once.

She flashed Brooke a smile and turned to her side where a man emerged from the hallway and stood beside the girl. "I agree Abby." He said in a deep yet soothing voice. He was wearing a tight white shirt that was tucked into long black pants.

[brooke]

Brookes little black wings fluttered and folded against her spine out of sight, she spun and looked, eyes bored and head slightly tilted to one side "thankyou?" she said as a question, she made bright pink flames jump from finger to finger as she studied them.
"name's Brooke" she said staring into the girls eyes, she shifted, her black jeans rustling gently. she wore a pink and black belt done up loosely round her waist. Her shirt was a black t-shirt and her long black hair was tied in a braid down her back.
"I'm guessing you;re Abby?" Brooke said using her weak telepathy skills to read the girls mind "and I ahve no clue who you are" she stared at the man, her mind going blank, it still took alot of her energy to use one of her powers.

[Tegan Monahan]

"Yes I am Abby. And this" She pointed to the man standing next to her. "Is Mr. Ryan Cramer. He's the mayor of this town. I have seen you around and told him that he should come and meet you." She said with a grin.

Ryan nodded and took a step forward. "It's a pleasure to meet you Brooke. I came out here because you are one of us and I would love to extend an invitation to work with us. I hunt down and collect people with rare abilities and have them join me in luxury." He explained.

[brooke]

Brooke took a step backwards as he approaced, she eyed him warily and folded ehr arms over her chest "how do i know your not from there where i was thrown?" she asked him edgily, stumbling a little as she reached a wall, her shoulders throbbed from where there was pressure applied to her wings and she pulled away. "nice to meet you by the way" she said shrugging it off and reaching over her shoulder to rub her shoulder blades. "why me?" she asked studying "i'm not much use to anyone really, she felt her wings twitc and unfold, they flapped a little, just showing over her arms, the feathers were ragged like new feathers on a baby bird, She watched them both.

[Tegan Monahan]

"Where from which you were thrown?" He asked a little curious as to what she ment. "Oh and I think you would be an excellent addition to our group. You have an amazing gift if I may say so. And you don't need to be frightened. Abigail has super speed, super strength, and lets just say you don't want her to get really angry. She has a power few know of."

[brooke]

"Satins daughter" Brooke said softly watching the girl "i was thrown, from....somewhere" she raised an eyebrow "it's not really a concern of yours and i'd of thought the wings would ahve given it away" she massaged her shoulders gently untilt eh wings folded behind her back again.

[Tegan Monahan]

"Yes I am Satan's daughter but don't worry. I'm nice to those who are smart enough to be nice to me." She pipped in. She walked up to Ryan and smiled at Brooke. Ryan nodded at Brookes answer and sighed. "Would you like to join us?" He asked simply. He wasn't going to stand there wasting his time.

[brooke]

"why not" she said blinking her red eyes at them "ok count me in " she smiled at them both and yawned softly, stretching, she was tired and felt weak and drained "I'm still trying to get hold of my powers so bare with kayy?" she said looking at them both

[Tegan Monahan]

"Don't worry. We have practice to train our powers. I still go into training. From what Ryan's told me I can crack open the earth, or I'm suppose to be able to. When I get that powerful I can send people straight to hell." She said happily. "And that's far off Abby." Ryan chimed in.

[brooke]

Brooke managed a luagh "Well...I'm from up in heaven but i got chucked out, why? because of the demon in me" she shrugged "i don't care, its rubbish up there and look, my wings are already growing back" she grinned at them both "so what exactly does this select group of people do?"

[Tegan Monahan]

"We create havok in here and try to get those discusting good people out. I'll show you who they are later on. They're mighty tough but with you we'll have an advantage. They don't know you yet." Abby said with a grin. She loved new comers.

[brooke]

"I've met two people" she said softly "A vampire, named laurell and a lycan named vincent, he smelt of pure good, she smelt of insanity and fire" she blinked "laurell rings a bell doesnt it?" she asked, a smirked spreading on her lips.

[Tegan Monahan]

Ryan gave Brooke a perplexed look and turned to Abby. Abby however, was smiling. "How is Laurell? I haven't spoken to that girl in ages. Oh and I would love to meet this Vincent." She said with an approving nod to Ryan.

[brooke]

"i met her when i first fell" she said "i havent seen her since then, but vincent is strange, quiet, calm, relaxed, a strange strange creature, i can shape shift but it takes alot of energy and i havent been able to do it since i fell" she shrugged "but maybe i can arrange for him to meet you guys? or find where he hides away so you can watch him?"
