Mind games aren't for Yasu. Yasu is just isn't that smart with anything mind related when you actually have to use your brain. The only mind game that he was good at was when he was in elementary school, before he found out that he was magical, but then again, his mother told him that he was half werewolf, half human but didn't tell his father anything till later. Anyways, the boy would just stare at the teacher with innocence when he did something that he wasn't suppose to, most of the time he didn't but sometimes it was accidental. Also his math teacher would purposely make Hit-su think so he would say. You owe me a cookie and one cookie for interest rate of one cookie per holiday. (In his real language of course.)
"Am I suppose to do something in chess? Yasu asked his mentor. Well, he has two mentors and they help him with the same problem, speaking English... so what does chess have to do with anything. Amori moved the far right pond one space ahead of him, now all of his ponds are one square ahead of their original spots. Making patterns is fun when you know what to do. The boy did remember play checkers with his mom before. She taught him that because it was easy and you get to jump the other people's pieces which was fun. It made him want to jump to him mother's back so he could have a piggy-back ride. Those were the good old days. The fun days. The boy grabbed the king and just twirled it around from the circular shape at the bottom, he gets distracted real easily. "This is worse than the detention for ditching," the boy sighed out loud, didn't even realized that he said that out loud.
