Ewan frowned and shook his head from side to side. "No, he's nothing like Kris. He wont mind killing innocents. He has no conscience. So basically, we have Damien and Kyle trying to kill us AND 3/4 of the creatures in Sleepy Hollow. You think we can do it?" he asked, his smile growing. Of course, he'd do his best to shield Alex from their enemies, but he could only do that for so long. Ewan moved a little closer to her, trying to keep his voice down. It would not be awesome if her dad walked in. "I think we should nip this thing in the bud. We should strike now."

Alex looked up at Ewan with a slightly confused expression on her face. "Wait, you don't mean go after all of them, do you?" She asked. She hoped he wasn't saying that, how could they? They would surely loose and surprisingly she was more worried about Ewan getting hurt then herself though she knew it would probably be her life that would be taken and not Ewan's.

Ewan lowered his head, his face only inches from hers now, and grinned. "I actually meant that I would go after them. You would stay here with your father and enjoy a nice Sunday evening. And dont go all slayer on me, alright? I know what you're thinking. 'No Ewan, im gonna go with you, because im the slayer and its my job.' Well guess what....you are NOT gonna get involved in this fight. Its my 'stupid' idea and I need to protect you. Protecting you is my job. Your protect the town, I protect you. Thats the way it goes. Alright?" He tried to keep a pleasant tone, not wanting to upset her in any way. He started to think he should've kept his mouth shut. "I need Damien gone. Paired with that Kyle guy, they're impossible to defeat. Ill just go after Damien, how about that?"

"No, Ewan. You go, I go too. You can't expect me to stay here knowing you are somewhere in danger. If Kyle is siding with Damien then he is going to be right there with Damien. Besides, it would be protecting the town. Don't try to tell me I'm going to sit around doing nothing. I'm more prepared then I was last time." Alex replied sternly. Her heart beat picked up again but not because she was scared, it was because Ewan's face was so close to hers.
