"Why would I get upset that there is a vampire in a hospital? Maybe because there is blood all over here! Are you aware of where I am Ewan? I'm a minor which means I'm in the children's ward!" Alex hissed at Ewan. She was even more upset that a vampire was close to where sick children laid. How Ewan was reacting to this was just making her suspicions of abandonment seem true. Would he think she was just overreacting and not want to be with her? She shook her head. "You better get them out of here before I find a piece of wood."

Laurell pouted at Teagan as she forced her to sit and have her wound treated, "Your no *hic* fun" she slurred as she grabbed at a bottle of disinfectant off a shelf her hand wasnt as steady as it should have been and she dropped the bottle, it smashed loudly "shhhh dont be so noisy" she growled softly at it as she started to giggle again. noticing that teagan was almost finished with her wound she grinned "Lets see if we can find something nice to eat i got the muchies" she mumbled as she pushed herself up from the chair and fell against the door swinging it wide open before she tumbled to the floor "Opps i think i feel" she giggled starting to crawl towards the wall to stand up. "Teagan i can smell rich sweet young blood Im Hungryyyyyyyyyyy" she wailed

Teagan looked at her and couldnt help but smile, she was soo funny when she was drunk. Teagan shook her head at her and helped her to her feet "you need to eb careful Laur" she said holding her up so she didnt fall again. Teagan sniffed the air and looked around, she noticed the childrens ward and sniffed, lots of young, sick children

Ewan winced, feeling the heat and anger flowing through her. "Please dont yell at me. Im doin whats best and the less the blood shed, the better. I wont leave you in here, unprotected. Your scent is probably the strongest in this whole place and if they get hungry, they'll come looking for you. So just....calm down alright? If you tired of me doing such a terrible job at protecting you, please just tell me," he said, rolling his eyes. "Im doing the best I can...." he mumbled, letting go of her and sitting back in his chair, his arms crossed.

"Ewan, I don't care about me. Yeah I'm the slayer but I taste just like every other person in this hospital. If Laurell is injured she's going to go for the easy kill. I've almost killed her already, those kids are sick! She'll have no problem taking a little kid or two. Please go get her out of here." Alex was straining to use a calm voice, but she was upset. If he was going to refuse to go out there and leave her unprotected then she would go out there. "Sometimes what's best for the town isn't what's best for me. I can't sit in here knowing that Laurell and her buddy could be feeding on little children. So either you go, or I go."

Laurell stumbled herway over to an open doorway the sound of a crying child drawing her closer "Sthissss way teag" she slurred as she peered through the open door, a line of little beds stretched along one wall the room dimmly lit for the night. "Teag I smell death in here" she whispered her face suddenly sobering, her eyes sparkled as she crept into the darkened ward, and past the sleeping children. A steady crying was coming from a dark shadow at the end of the ward and Laurell could make out a man leaning over a child, her senses went on alert, something wasnt right here. Laurell peered over her shoulder at teagan and spoke to her mind 'Teag something not right that guy dont look like a doctor to me' she turned and watched as the guy wrapped one beefy hand over the childs mouth and nose cutting out the sound and effectivly the childs air. 'hes killing it'[i/] she thought in disgust

Teagan kept up with laurell and glared at the man kill him she snapped, when laurell seemed to be still Teagan darted past her, silently moving closer as the child began to struggle, she tackled the guy knocking him away from the bed, the child falling as he went down.she growled nastilly at the man, hearing the childs startled cries she stood infront of it get the guy, he's got good blood, kill him and get a proper meal Laurell Teagan stayed infront of the child, she may be a bitch and eat people but she would never hurt a child.

Ewan growled in frustration, and flew out the door, mumbling under his breath. He stormed down the hall, sniffing the air and eventually came to a long room with three adults and a whol lot of sick kids. He cautiously moved forward until he saw the familiar faces of Laurell and Teagan. They were fighting the shadowy figure of a man. He smelled like trouble. "Whats going on here? Was he hurting the child?" Before he could get an answer, his instincts took over. He helped Teagan and Laurell, pinning the man to the ground. "Bite him," he hissed, his eyes pitch black. He wanted some of the blood, but wasnt willing to take the first bite.

Alex moved down in her seat, a frown on her face. "He's mad at me, I can tell. Why does he trust her so damn much? He's getting angry at me because of it. What if he decides that he doesn't want to put up with me?" The thought frightened her, she didn't want another enemy, especially Ewan. She would just have to be a little more reasonable, or get used to working alone. If Ewan changed sides on her she would probably just let them kill her. She would have no choice.

Laurells mind worked quickly as first Teagan knocked the guy away from the childs bed and then stood over the child protecting it from him, She spun as she heard a noise and saw the blur that was Ewan rushing to hold the guy down. Laurell grinned at their words and lowered herself onto her knees in front of the struggling man. "What on earth was you doing to that poor defenceless baby" she sang softly to him as she ran her hand gently over his head and down one cheek. her eyes remained soft and gentle as she traced the furiously pumping Vein in his neck with one finger a small giggle eminating from her lips.
"I werent doing nothing.. the brats my kid and he needs to be punished" the guy spat at Laurell.
She shook her head slowly "Not the right answer" she drawled as she sliced deep into the guys cheek with her finger nail, she smiled cruelly "Now lets try that again" she whispered bring her face in close to lick the blood running down his face. "What was you doing to that poor baby?" she asked him again looking out of the corner of her eye towards Teagan and Ewan.
"Back off Bitch!" the guy swore at her as he struggled to get away from Ewan and Teagans strong grip.
Laurell sighed and shook her head, her eyes slowly chaging color from green to red "Now I think that your lying to me and.... I....Dont...." she paused turning her head away from the guy to wink at Teag before spinning back to the man and spitting "....LIKE LIARS!" her features changed into her true visage as she spoke, the eyebrows knotting together as her fangs grew down past her bottom lip, Her eyes glowed red. "Now lets see if daddy likes his punishment" she growled before ripping into the guys throat the action extinguishing his scream into a loud grunt of pain, His blood flooded her mouth and Laurell drank deeply, before lifting her blood soaked mouth. "Enjoy" she said to Ewan and Teagan wiping her mouth with her sleeve as her features shifted back to normal again.
She stood and went to check on the child, a gentle smile on her lips. "hey hey its ok" she crooned softly stroking the childs soft downy hair "he wont hurt you now" she smiled.

Teagan let the limp mans body go, ehr grip loosening quickly as she backed off from him, her stomach churning, she swallowed hard and heard luarell speak to the child, she bent and lifted the small child into her arms, she cradled it, whispering softly ina foreign tongue untilt he child was sleeping, she set the small thing into the bed and covered it up "lets get rid of the body Laur" she looked at Ewan "thanks fo the help" Teagan still looked deathly pale and real sick but she was feeling a tad bit better and her strength was returning.
