Ewan had exited the gym through the back door and scaled the building until he was on the roof. He listened intently to her phone conversation and smiled when he finally had what he wanted. When she'd hung up the phone, he decided to make an entrance. He jumped down from the roof, to the front of the alleyway, blocking her main entrance. A normal human would've atleast been badly injured by the fall, but Ewan was standing tall, still smiling. "So thats what you are? The slayer? I knew we'd meet eventually. Dont be afraid, im not gonna hurt you. This is actually wonderful news that ive found you. Hunter will want to know about this. Ryan too....im sure." He took a few steps toward her but kept his distance. He didnt want to frighten her. She was the only person he could get close to. "Im not like the others here in sleepy hollow....im going to be your protector alright?"

Ewan's landing, unscatched, confirmed Alex's theory that he wasn't human. "I don't know what you are and why you want me to believe that you are my 'protector', but I'm not falling for it. So just leave me alone, tell your friend that too. And I suggest you get out of my way, or I'll make you move." She said, trying to sound tough. She had never met a creature other than a vampire. She didn't know how to kill a demon, or whatever Ewan was. She was a little frightened.

Ewan matched all of her movements and made sure she couldnt run off. He didnt want her to be afraid, but she had to atleast listen to what he had to say. "Look, its not an official job, not like your job being slayer, but I think I can help you. It was only about a month ago that I was still human. To clear things up, im not a vampire or a demon or, of course, human. Im a werewolf. Soon to be hybrid actually. Hunter's been training me so that I could help you. Sleepy Hollow might be too much for you alone. I....still want to be your friend."

"A werewolf?" Alex had never seen a werewolf, but she didn't picture them to look totally human. She was skeptical, she wasn't sure if she should believe his story. "How can I be sure that you are who you say you are? That you're not just some demon that is going to kill me the first time I turn my back, and that you don't have your friend hiding somewhere here, waiting to attack me?" She asked calmly. Ryan had never told her about werewolves, she didn't know how to kill them and what they looked like. He still had a lot to teach her it seemed.

Ewan thought for a long moment and shrugged. "Umm, I dont know. From the look on your face you dont know much about my kind. Even if I showed you what I look like, changed, how could you know I wasnt just a shape shifting demon. I guess.....its all about trust. I wouldnt transform infront of you anyway. I might hurt you." Ewan finally stood aside, giving her room to run if she wanted. He'd said all he needed to at the moment. It all came down to who and what she believed. "Im not here to kill you and Hunter isnt around here. He's off running errands. Im suppose to meet him later. I could take him to meet Ryan if youd like. Your Ryan would know truth from lies, yes?"

Alex thought for a moment, not sure if she wanted to risk Ryan's safety if Ewan wasn't who he said he was. After considering it for a while she nodded slightly. "Alright, meet me and Ryan at the cemetary gates at ten, bring your friend. I'll be armed, so don't try anything." She said simply. Until Ryan confirmed or denied their story then she would have to not believe him. She wanted to but Ryan had taught her not to trust strangers. Expecially ones who knew what a slayer was and did.

Ewan nodded and smiled. "Fair enough. Im sure Ryan wont think we're so bad. We'll be partners before you know it." Ewan bade her farewell and made his way to an empty warehouse. This was their little hideout and Ewan knew it was exactly where Hunter would be. As soon as he walked in, Hunter was furious. He'd obviously seen the way Ewan had been staring. "Look, before you yell at me, ive got some important news. That girl....was the slayer. We're meeting her in the cemetery tonight. Shes going to have a guardian so be careful. If he thinks we're lying he could try anything and ummm...knows what I am so..." Hunter looked surprised at first but that quickly turned to anger once more.
"So what, Ewan? Be prepared to meet a wall of silver bullets if this meeting goes badly? I swear...maybe Kris was right." Ewan just shook his head and sat in a corner. He was actually quite excited about the meeting.

Alex waited a few more minutes after Ewan left, just to make sure nothing would attack her and then she ran home. As soon as she got through the large iron gates and to her house, she felt safer. She quickly hustled up to her room and dropped her gym stuff on the floor. She closed her bedroom door and walked into the bathroom that was connected to her room. It was already eight thirty and she still had to get ready for patrol and warn Ryan. She took a quick shower, only a half an hour, and got dressed, shoving her dirty gym clothes into her hamper.
She called Ryan again and this time he sounded worried. "What's wrong Alex?"
"It's nothing. The guy I told you about, Ewan, he heard our conversation on the phone before. He knows I'm the slayer now. He tried to claim he was a werewolf and that he wants to protect me, but I'm not sure. I was hoping you knew something about werewolves." Alex asked hopefully.
Ryan walked over to his bookshelf and started to look through the books, pulling out one on werewolves. "I don't know much, just that they can only be killed by silver to the heart."
"Okay then bring something silver with you on patrol."
"Why?"
Alex bit her lip, glad he wasn't there to see her guilty looking face. "I sort of invited him to bring his friend to talk to you."
"Alex!" Ryan groaned. "Alright, I'll bring something."

Ewan listened to Hunter rant on and on and on until the clock finally read 9:50. Both hybrids walked out the door and made their way toward the cemetery. They cautiously and silently walked towards the iron gates. Cemeteries looked creepy anyway, but adding fog and setting the time of day to night made it almost unbearably scary. Hunter took the lead, Ewan close by. "If our friends dont arrive on time, or if something goes wrong, I want you to run alright?" Ewan didnt respond, knowing full well that he wouldnt leave Hunter behind.

Ryan had arrived at Alex's house, not wanting her to walk to the cemetery alone if those two mysterious guys were coming. When she walked out she saw him open up the gun he had brought, every round filled with small, slender silver bullets. He closed it and put it in his back pocket. "You have everything you need right? Did you bring a knife just incase their demons? And the stakes?" He asked nervously. This was his first time as a watcher, and had grown attatched to Alex. To him, she was like a little sister and he cared about her well being.
"I have everything Ry, calm down. I have a good feeling about them, I just want to make sure before I start to trust them," She explained. They walked in silence the rest of the way there, and arrived there to find Ewan and Hunter standing there.
Ryan pulled out the gun and held it in his hand at his side. He wanted it in his hand incase something happened quickly.

Hunter stepped forward, and smiled, holding his hand out to Ryan and Alex. "Hello, im Hunter and this is Ewan. I use to protect the old slayers. Or help protect....atleast. Im training Ewan to be my successor. He told me that you wanted us to come here for somewhat of an interview? I can assure you that we are in no way here to harm you." Every once in a while, both Ewan and Hunter would glance at the gun in Ryans hand, nervously. "Though I understand completely why you have a gun, i'll have to ask you to atleast put it behind your back. We are extremely allergic to silver as you must know."
Ewan took a few steps forward, despite the looks he was getting from Hunter and smiled. "So, what questions do you need answered? We'll do anything we can to prove to you that we arent dangerous...to you atleast."

Ryan looked at Hunter's extended hand but didn't shake it. He had a hard time trusting people. Alex had started to go towards his hand but Ryan stopped her before she got halfway to Hunter's hand. He listened to Hunter, not saying a word until both of them were finished talking. "I'm sorry but I'm not putting the gun behind my back. It's a precaution of course," he said in a hard voice. He tried to soften his tone but he was a little uptight, and not very pleased with Alex for inviting them. "I don't know much about werewolves but I would like you both to prove yourselves, think of a way. Until then, we treat you as an enemy."
Alex stood there, not saying anything because she knew what Ryan would do if she did. She looked at Ewan and smiled weakly. It was easier to believe him when she looked at him.

Hunter took a step back and let Ewan be in the lead. He was a little shocked and nervous by Hunter's movements. Hunter kept a hard face and tried to explain. "You wanted this meeting. You lead. He wants proof, well its not that easy." Hunter was basically stating that he was only there as backup for Ewan. He didnt want his successor to be shot to death.
Ewan returned the smile before proceeding. "Umm, im not sure how you'd like us, I mean me to prove to you that im a friend. I could tell you everything you need to know about werewolves and how to...kill one. But unless you'd let me be around her during her patrolls, I cant prove anything. I will protect her, I promise." Ewan glanced at Ryan's gun and took a deep breath before continuing. "You obviously already know that silver kills us. What else do you need?"

"Absolutely not." Ryan said shortly. He wasn't going to let a possibly harmful werewolf walk around with Alex since Ryan wasn't going to walk around with her.
Alex rolled her eyes and stepped foward. "Don't be such a baby Ryan. If they are werewolves we might as well test them. If they're good they can help us." She leaned in so she could whisper in Ryan's ear, still unaware that Ewan had good hearing. "I can take him on if he tries anything. Keep the gun though."
She turned to Ewan and Hunter. "Okay, patrol with me and your friend can stay here with Ryan. I'm sure the dork wants to learn more about werewolves and will want to question your friend endlessly."
Ryan scowled but allowed it. "I do have some questions."

Hunter agreed, actually wanting to have a little chat with this Ryan. "Dont be long Ewan. If you get into trouble, bring her back here. Understand?" "Yes sir." Ewan walked up to Alex, still smiling. He was overjoyed. Quality alone time with the girl he'd be hanging around for many years, hopefully.
"Ok, so you lead and ill follow. If you want me to change or anything just say the word. I will gain your trust," he said, completely sure of himself. He was beginning to think he had a crush on this girl. Maybe more, but it was too soon to tell.
