Ewan never liked school. He thought it was boring and juvenile and the students were so immature. Everyday after school, he'd teach himself new subjects and constantly read. Hunter wanted to keep Ewan's secret a secret. Obediently, he went to school without complaining. He made the effort to get up that morning for one reason and one reason alone. she would be there.
He shuffled the books around in his locker and organized. There was still about ten minutes before the first bell and he had nothing else to do.

Teagan wasn't paying attention to where she was walking, she was thinking to herself, her arms wrapped round her books as she walked, and then, BAM, she walked stright into Ewan, dropping her books she made a soft growling noise and bent to pick them up "sorry" she mumbled as she scooped all her books up into her arms and dusted them down some.

Alex had gotten to school with five minutes to spare, she had accidently woken up late. She dropped her books into her locker and hung up her coat on one of the few hooks that were bolted into the walls of her locker. She slammed the door shut just as some of her friends passed an waved to her. They had class in the opposite wing of her so they never got to talk until second period at least.
She found the new girl she had been talking to for about a week now, they were good friends. They both had first class together, it was graphic design. They mostly just made funny things on paint, and teased each other. The new girl was a senior, brown hair, peircings, and she looked older than eighteen. Her name was Kris Montage.
They walked down the hall where Ewan and Teagan were. Kris stopped by the water fountain to get a drink and Alex stopped with her. They were talking about going somewhere afterschool, even though Alex had training. She was going to skip it and worry about Ryan's scolding later. She wanted to have fun and to be able to have somewhat of a normal life.

Ewan chuckled softly and gave her a reassuring smile. "Its quite alright. Are you alright? You look a little frazzled. Do you need help with anything? Oh im Ewan by the way," he said, holding out his hand for her to shake. Just then he noticed two familiar figures down the hall. 'Kris? Why is she in high school?' he thought to himself. They were still at the water fountain, so Ewan would enjoy his talk with Teagan. Thats when he finally remembered why this girl also looked familiar. "Oh ya, your the girl I met the other day. Catwoman right?" he asked, giggling.

"im a therian" she hissed at him under her breath "and the names Teagan, nice to meet you" she shook his hand firmly then looked over her shoulder "isnt that Kris?" she asked studying ehr "whos the other girl?" she sniffed the air but there was way too many scents for her to pick one out.

After Kris was finished getting a drink (she only did that so Alex wouldn't get suspisious), they started walked back down the hall. Kris didn't have working taste buds anymore so she didn't like eating or drinking because it didn't taste like anything. When she was around people she would though.
Alex caught sight of Ewan and waved to him. Her smile grew a little. She liked Ewan, he was fun to talk to and one of the only really nice guys in the town. That was besides Ryan and her father. Alex brought the two over to Ewan and Teagan. "Hello Ewan." She said politely. Kris stayed where she was, not saying a word.

Ewan waved back and smiled as she walked over. "Hey Alex. I dont know if you've met her before, but this is Teagan. Teagan this is Alex and you already know Kris." He eyed Kris suspiciously but didnt say anything. Why would anyone want to go to high school? After a few moments of thought, he looked over at Alex and smiled again. He couldnt help it. Its like she had a tractor beam for smiles. "So, Alex, do you like the classes on your schedule?"

"lo" teagan said eyeing this 'alex' suspiciously, she studied her carefully, clutching her books to her chest, she then smiled at Kris "hey Kris how are ya?" she asked her, her sharp little teeth showing as she had her lips slightly parted.

Alex waved to Teagan and turned back to Ewan to answer his question. "They're good classes actually. I have graphic design first with Kris. I didn't know you guys knew each other." She said, happily. She shifted the few books in her hands.
Kris smiled weakly and looked at Teagan and Ewan. "I'm alright, been really bored lately. How about you two?" She asked.
After about a minute Alex whispered something to Kris, waved to the other two, and walked off. She had to go do something and she needed to do it before the bell rang.

Ewan was about to answer Kris' question when Alex whispered something to her and walked off. He frowned and glanced at Kris. Surely, she'd tell him what was going on. If Alex was doing something slayer-like, then Ewan needed to be there. 'She's already hiding stuff from me.' Ewan shifted slightly, deciding whether or not he should follow her.

Teagan studied her nails out of sheer boredom, she looked around after say 5 mins, checking other people in th ehall out, her eyes went to the watch on ehr wrist and pushed ehr hair out of her face again, she studied Alex as she retreated and frowned, sniffing the air

"Don't worry about Alex, she just had to go do something normal, she didn't want to interrupt things. She said she'll see you at lunch if you want to sit with her. So anyway, what brings you two to school? Hunter making you go Ewan?" She asked curiously. She was really surprised that Teagan was there and was wondering what her reason was for coming to school.

Ewan nodded, and rolled his eyes. "Ya, he wants me to try and fit in. Pretend to be normal, you know...." Ewan was a little relieved that Alex wasnt off doing something dangerous....or was she? Atleast he got to see her at lunch. 'No, stop. Dont get attached. Dont worry about her. Just let her live her life.'

"im only here because laurell cant teach me and i want a good education" she shifted some, moving her books about in ehr arms "my pard kicked me out before i had a chance to learn much so i been teaching myself but decided now im settled i'll go to school, its what any normal teenager would do right?"

"I guess, being a teenager now is a lot different then being one when I was alive. It's hard to pretend to be eighteen again, I don't remember how. Plus I keep forgetting that normal people eat and drink so I have to pretend to eat." She shooked her head, obviously thinking that life was much easier in the 1950's. There were strict rules and everyone obeyed them.
